Day 1: Ho Chi Minh – Can Tho – Green Village (L/D)

You will be picked up at 08:00 from the hotel in Sai Gon, then driven to Green Village in Can Tho. Arrive at Green Village at noon, have lunch, and check in for a homestay.

At 13.30, our local guide will cycle with you on non-touristic trails with the canals and the orchard gardens.

We will cycle to a local temple where you can meet an old lady who has kept the temple for her whole life. It is also a place where local people gather in some special festival.

Then, we will keep going and visit the village market and try some local cakes.

The next place is a local secondary school, where we will stop at a local coffee shop just in front of the school to have a break. You can take this chance to know more about our society and also our educational system in Vietnam (if possible).

Last but not least, a local rice wine is an authentic experience for you to pay a visit to. You can also try pure wine.

• Time: after check-in for two hours of cycling
• Join cooking with our family and have dinner at Green Village.

Day 2: Green Village – Cai Rang Floating Market – Ho Chi Minh (B/L)

05:30: Depart from our own boat station in front of the property.

Take a wooden boat on a non-touristic canal to the Cai Rang floating market, which takes around 60 minutes (it may take longer if the boat goes upstream).

After the floating market, visit a glass noodle factory.

Stop at Cai Rang fish land market to see how local people shop every day for very fresh food.

Return to Green Village around 10:00, or check out early in the morning and end the tour at the local boat station. Have lunch at Green Village, then transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.
