Hue to Hoi An via Hai Van pass
Its amazing 2 days travelling by motorbike from Hue to Hoi An, drivers through small country lane-ways, before climbing up Hai Van Pass, where panoramic views of the coast are all around and praised by BBC’s Top Gear as the most beautiful coastal mountain road in the world, Visit the minority village life and swimming at waterfall, riding along the Ho Chi Minh trail we enjoy the fresh air and feel the spirit of freedom
Day 1: Hue – Prao via Hai Van pass / 190km
Tour starts at 08:30 from your hotel
First, visit the Thanh Toan bridge, as wellas visit the daily local market, see the real local life, and we will then ride through the countryside. Stop to visit the mushroom farm made
from Rice Straw. Then we will visit the Tam Giang Lagoon with amazing views before heading up to the Hai Van pass, where panoramic views of the coast are all around and praised by BBC’s Top Gear as the most beautiful coastal mountain road in the world.
In the afternoon, we are in the mountains, where we will stop for a swim. We then continue our adventure across the hills of Tea plantations, one of the specialties of Vietnam. Along the way, you will be very happy to see children waving to welcome you, visiting the villages of ethnic minorities, we meet and talk to them, spending time observing how the Co Tu ethnic minority works.
Day 2: Prao – Hoi An
We start a new day riding on the Ho Chi Minh Trail, first named 559 road, stopping to take pictures and learn about history. Visiting another village of ethnic Co Tu minorities, where the culture and traditions remain untouched, to one of the most authentic hill tribes to remain in Vietnam. To continue adventures on the HCM trail, through lush forests with beautiful views of the central Vietnam mountains, before arriving at a waterfall for swimming.
In the afternoon, we will go back to Hoi An, stopping to visit pineapple plantations and enjoy them (Seasonal), crossing the Thu Bon river by local ferry, and riding on a “floating bridge,” enjoying the picturesque sunset.
The tour finishes at approximately 16.00 – 17.30

- It’s not possible to drive by yourself, except if you have the right documents, insurance, and experience to drive in Vietnam
- If you go by car, the program can be changed. The tour can be changed after covid
