Day 1: Sai Gon – Tra Vinh – Ben Tre (L, D) 

08:00 guide picks you up at your hotel. On arrival in Mo Cay (Ben Tre), take your trip. Ride on the sampan along the canal, then board a cruise to explore along the Mo Cay River to visit the Thom Coconut Floating Market. The trip gives you a chance to observe the lively activities of coconut processing and trading. Every day, hundreds of boats filled with coconuts anchor along the banks of the river, waiting for traders and customers. The place is picturesque, and the trade is hot and fun for visitors. Keep your cruise on the Con Chien River to Con Ho (Ho Isles). Visit the local house for a delicious lunch of local specialties. After the meal, take your time walking around the surrounding area for more local life exploration. Visit fruit gardens and Mr. Hai Trai’s house to experience an interesting herbal foot bath (ngam chan thao duoc). Cruise back to the pier. Drive to Tra Vinh city, visit the Khmer culture, and visit Ba Om Pond and the Khmer museum. Drive to the homestay in Ben Tre. Check in for a relaxing cooking class – dinner. Overnight in the farmer’s house.

Day 2: Ben Tre – Ho Chi Minh (B, L) 

07:30 Have breakfast. Take cycling, see the local market, and a broom-making workshop. Visit local families and enjoy honey tea. Then, ride a sampan along the canal. Cycle back to the homestay. 11:00 Lunch with the family (homemade). 14:00 Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.
