Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Tra Vinh – Ben Tre (L, D)

08:00: Guide picks you up at your hotel. Upon arrival in Mo Cay (Ben Tre), begin your journey. Ride on a sampan along the canal, then board a cruise to explore the Mo Cay River and visit the Thom Coconut Floating Market. This trip offers a chance to observe lively coconut processing and trading activities. Hundreds of boats filled with coconuts anchor along the riverbanks every day, creating a picturesque and bustling trade scene that’s enjoyable for visitors.

Continue your cruise on the Con Chien River to Con Ho (Ho Isles). Visit a local house for a delicious lunch featuring local specialties. After the meal, take a leisurely walk to explore the surrounding area and visit a fruit garden and Mr. Hai Trai’s house for an interesting herbal foot bath experience (ngam chan thao duoc).

Cruise back to the pier, then drive to Tra Vinh City to explore Khmer culture. Visit Ba Om Pon and the Khmer Museum.

Drive to Ben Tre for check-in at a relaxing farmer’s house. Enjoy a cooking class and dinner. Overnight at the farmer’s house.

 

Day 2: Ben Tre – Green Village (B, L, D)

07:30: Have breakfast. Take a cycling tour to visit the local market and a Braum-making workshop. Visit local families to enjoy honey tea. Then, ride a sampan along the canal and cycle back to the homestay.

11:00: Lunch with the family (homemade).

14:00: Drive to Green Village. Arrive at Green Village and check in. Join a cooking session with the family and have dinner at Green Village.

 

Day 3: Green Village – Ho Chi Minh (B, L)

05:30: Depart from our own boat station in front of the property.

Take a wooden boat on a non-touristic canal and arrive at Cai Rang Floating Market in approximately 60 minutes (may take longer if the boat goes upstream).

After the floating market, visit a glass noodle factory.

Stop at Cai Rang Fish Land Market to observe how locals shop daily for fresh food.

Return to Green Village around 10:00 or check out early and conclude the tour at the local boat station. Have lunch at Green Village and transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.
