Day 01: Buon Ma Thuot Airport – Lak Lake (L/D) – 60 km

Morning:

• Welcome and pick up guests at BMT Airport.
• Transfer to Lak Lake.
• Visit Yang Tao village to discover the traditional pottery-making of the M’nong people using black clay.
• Visit the villages of Le and Jun to explore the culture of the M’nong R’lam ethnic group.
• Check-in.

Evening:

• Have dinner with the host and spend the night at Lak Lake.

Accommodation: Choice of Homestay (long house-on-stilts) or a mini hotel.

 

Day 02: Lak Lake – YokDon National Park – Buon Ma Thuot (B/L/D) – 160 km

Morning:

• After breakfast, check out and continue the trip to explore Buon Ma Thuot City.
• Make stops along the way to visit plantations of coffee, pepper, and rubber.
• Discover the culture of coffee and enjoy a coffee break.
• Visit Tul Village to learn about Ede culture.

Noon:

• Have lunch at a local restaurant (simple lunch is served).

Afternoon:

• Continue the tour to YokDon National Park.
• Arrive at the park’s headquarters, complete the paperwork.
• Use an electric car to go to the elephant territory (about 10 km) and look for the elephants.
• Leave the park around 16:00 and return to BMT.
• Check in at your hotel.

Evening:

• Spend the night in BMT and explore the city at night.

Accommodation: Elephant Hotel 4**** or similar.

 

Day 03: Buon Ma Thuot – DrayNur Fall/DraySap Fall – Gia Nghia (B/L/D) – 150 km

Morning:

• After breakfast, check out of the hotel at 08:00 and continue the trip to visit DrayNur and DraySap waterfalls (swimming is possible).
• Sightseeing along the way.
• Enjoy coffee in Dakmil.
• Visit a cocoa garden in DakSong.

Noon:

• Have lunch at a local restaurant (simple lunch is served).

Afternoon:

• Arrive in Gia Nghia, visit EXPLORASOUND (the first museum of sounds in Vietnam).
• Check in at your hotel and enjoy free time at your leisure.

Evening:

• Spend the night in Gia Nghia and explore the city at night.

Accommodation: DakNong Lodge Resort 3*** or similar.

 

Day 04: Gia Nghia – Cat Tien National Park (B/L/D) – 160 km

Morning:

• Have breakfast at the hotel, check out, and transfer to Cat Tien National Park.
• Make stops along the way to visit the villages of Mong and Cauma (Chau Ma people) and enjoy sightseeing.

Noon:

• Have lunch at a local restaurant before going to the park (on guests’ account).

Afternoon:

• Arrive at the Dong Nai River bank, get on the boat to access the office of Cat Tien National Park.
• Complete the paperwork.
• Continue the tour by bicycle (9 km) to explore the park’s rich nature.
• Start a hike (5 km) through the forest to Bau Sau Lake (Crocodile Swamp). Visit giant trees like the 400-year-old Tung tree, the Fabaceae tree, and the lagerstroemia forest. Spot various wildlife if lucky.
• Arrive at Bau Sau Lake, check in, and explore the park. Enjoy the sunset and help the forest rangers prepare dinner.

Evening:

• Have dinner with the forest ranger officers and spend the night at the Forest Ranger Station.
• Chat with the forest rangers to learn more about the park’s legends.
• Watch crocodiles at night (adventure!).

Accommodation: Wooden house (Forest Ranger Station).

Notes:

1. Rooms at the forest ranger station are simple and basic, but cozy as they are surrounded by nature.
2. If guests do not want to use the bike, a Pick-Up (4WD) will be used instead.

Day 05: Cat Tien National Park – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L/-) – 160 km

Morning:

• Have breakfast at the forest ranger station.
• Check out at 09:00 and continue to walk (5 km) to explore the park’s fauna and flora system. Off the trail and continue the tour by bicycle (9 km) to get back to the park’s office.
• Visit the park’s headquarters, check out, and cross the Dong Nai River by boat to access the land.

Notes:

1. Guests can cycle further/deeper into the forest if interested.
2. Sometimes, guests can get off the bike and walk to discover parts of the trails in the forest.

Noon:

• Have lunch at a local restaurant (on guests’ account).

Afternoon:

• Continue the trip to Ho Chi Minh City, making stops along the way to discover the Former Volcanic Crater (Lava tubes), visit La Nga Floating Village, and enjoy sightseeing.
• Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City around 18:00 and check in at your hotel.
