Day 1: Ho Chi Minh – Ben Tre (L/D)

08:00: Pick up at your hotel and transfer to Ben Tre.

10:00: On arrival at Ham Luong Pier (Ben Tre city), take a cruise on the Ben Tre River, one of the tributaries of the Mekong River. Enjoy sightseeing of lively activities along the river, such as fishing and water transfer. Stop at a brickworks to see how bricks are made in the traditional style by printing and baking. Visit one of the many coconut processing workshops located along the canal. Navigate through natural scissors creeks, which become progressively narrower, to reach the village. Take a walk to a family workshop where sleep mats are made and enjoy some fruits and tea. Take a motor cart (xe loi) or cycle ride under tree shades, passing by green rice fields and vegetable plains to experience real life and learn about tropical culture from the peasants. Have lunch at the Hai Ho family house.

14:00: In the afternoon, go sightseeing around the village.

16:00: Transfer by boat to the homestay. Check in for the homestay.

19:00: Have dinner. Overnight in a farmer’s house.

 

Day 2: Ben Tre – Green Village (B/L/D)

07:30: Have breakfast. Go cycling, see local life, or relax at the homestay.

10:00: Transfer to Green Village. Have lunch and check in at Green Village.

Cycle to visit some local places:

• Local pagoda
• Local rice mill
• Local family with fruit tasting and coconut drinks
• Local school

Time: After check-in, enjoy a two-hour cycling tour.

Join in cooking with our family and have dinner at Green Village (if you want).

 

Day 3: Cai Rang – Rach Gia (B/L)

05:30: Departure

Have breakfast with local noodle soup, fruits, coffee, or coconut on the boat at the floating market (you can choose to pack breakfast from Green Village). After the floating market, visit a glass noodle factory.

08:30: Car transfer to Rach Gia (it takes about 2.5 hours) to take a boat at 13:00 to Phu Quoc. On the way, stop for lunch. You will arrive at Phu Quoc around 15:30.

End of tour.
