Day 1: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Rustic (L/D)

08.00 The car will pick you up at your hotel. Arrive at Mekong around 12.00, have lunch

14.30 We will pick you up at Mekong Rustic Can Tho to prepare for the Mekong Rustic cycling trip. We will cycle to visit a blacksmith family and learn how to make the knife’s manually and have a chance to make friends with local people. It is surrounded by a luxuriant garden with many types of tropical fruit trees and flowers.

Then, we experience it by learning how to make banana cake and cycling around Nhan Ai Island to visit the MONKEY bridge, which local people use to cross the canals daily, and learn how local people cross the bridges. Stop at a local farmer’s house to savour a cup of tea and fresh coconut water. You can try plucking the fruits from the host’s garden and talk to him to understand how local farmers take care of their gardens.

Saying goodbye to the hospitable host, you will cycle back to Mekong Rustic Can Tho.

Overnight at Mekong Rustic

Day 2: Mekong Rustic – Ho Chi Minh (B/L)

05.30 We will pick you up at the Mekong Rustic Can Tho restaurant to prepare for the Mekong Rustic boat trip.

We will visit Cai Rang – the biggest wholesale floating market.

During your trip to Cai Rang, you can experience the local daily life of people in the Mekong Delta through the beautiful tiny canal by small wooden boats and then learn how to make the noodles in the Vietnamese traditional… 

Go back to the homestay, have lunch, then transfer back to Ho Chi Minh
